Do You Have an AT&T Refund Waiting?

Do You Have an AT&T Refund Waiting?

I recently logged into my online account with AT&T and noticed a message in the “Alerts” area of my billing. “Great, what do they want?”, I thought, but it turns out THEY have to give me something.refund_alert
Back in October (2014) The Federal Trade Commission hit AT&T with a $105 million dollar settlement for “mobile cramming” fees. These are fees charged to phone bills for third party mystery charges such as ringtones, subscriptions, and other services you didn’t request. Now AT&T have notified users of possible Refunds Available to you phone account. A link in the notice will take you  to an FTC site where you can enter your phone number(s) associated with your account. Once the claim is submitted, your account will be looked into for possible refunds. I don’t expect this to be a large amount, but money back is always good. There is a deadline of May 1, 2015 for requesting this refund. You may also apply for the refund by following this link:
